Master Cai Wen YU
 

Cai Wen Yü was born in Beijing, China. At the age of six he began training the martial arts, Ba Gua Zhang and Xing Yi Quan styles, with his father, Cai Jin Bao. At the age of 20, he began training Yi Quan with the Great Master Yao Zong Xun, who war a direct disciple of the Great Master Wang Xiang Zhai, founder of the style. 

Sifu Cai (pronounced “Tsai”) learned the Qi Gong in his youth. In 1985, he had the opportunity of passing on his knowledge as the martial arts instructor of the Chinese Army. Later, in 1989, he continued teaching in his hometown. He has been living in Brazil since 1997, where he founded the Cai Wen Yu Association of Traditional Martial Arts and Chinese Culture, and he is teaching classes of Yi Quan, Ba Gua Zhang, Xing Yi Quan, Tai Ji Quan, and Qi Gong.

 

 
 

The Cai Wen Yu presents lectures and seminars about subjects related to the Chinese culture and the martial arts in a regular basis. Recently, Sifu Cai presented a lecture at USP (University of São Paulo) and tow lectures at Unicamp (University of Campinas) about Qi Gong.

In July, 2003, he presented a ten-day seminar of Ba Gua Zhang and Qi Gong in the state of Rondônia, where he was interviewed several times for the radio and television. In August of the same year, Sifu Cai was invited to go to Germany (in the city of Bautzen), where he presented a two-week seminar of Qi Gong.
